Ski and Snowboard race 2010
PBS entered a 14 student ski and snowboard race team for the second annual international schools ski and snowboard race. The race was held at, ‘Pec pod Snezkou‘ mountain in the Czech Republic. 59 racers from 7 schools competed in the two run slalom race. The hotel was full and students were nervous and excited about the prospect of racing what was for some their first ever race. Competition was tough! However all enjoyed the race and the experience to race. Honza K was our best placed student in the open age group boys ski slalom. Honza came 5th. All in all the weekend was based around fitness as well. Our hotel was high up on the piste and all students and staff had to walk up to the hotel on a few occasions. This pleased some but disgruntled others! A great weekend away was enjoyed by all.
