General Information.
This is a highly regarded extra-curricula qualification, started in the UK but now recognised worldwide.
There are 3 levels of the award: Bronze, Silver and Gold. For each level of the award, students must organise and participate weekly in the following disciplines:
Physical
This includes sporting activities, which may be team sports or individual activities, e.g. football, dance, aerobics, etc.
Skill
e.g. learning to play an instrument, appreciation of the arts, drawing or painting, cooking, astronomy, etc.
Service
This could involve voluntary work outside of school or helping in our primary school. It may include working with young people, disabled people, old people, environmental agencies, fundraising, etc.
