Kamyk

Address: K Lesu 558/2, Prague 4

Kamýk is a large site located in the south east of the city on the edge of a large forest. It takes approximately 20 minutes to drive from the centre of Prague to the Kamyk site.

It is the main school site, housing a Foundation Stage Unit, Primary and Senior School and the school administration. Approximately 550 students attend the Kamýk site.

The Prague British School moved to the Kamýk site in 2004 and since then has undergone extensive reconstruction, including the building of new outdoor sports facilities, a theatre and a new dining room and kitchen. The most recent phase of reconstruction was completed in the summer of 2011, with two extensions to the Kamýk site being added. The first extension includes a new Senior School library and multi media centre, while the second extension caters for the Foundation Stage classes in the Primary school.
