Teechers by John Godber
Teechers depicts life at a modern comprehensive school. Gail, Salty and Hobby are about to leave Whitewall High School with no qualifications, no job prospects and no hope. A new teacher, Mr Nixon, arrives to face the challenges posed by cynical colleagues, obstructive caretakers and clueless students...
On Wednesday 30th November and Thursday 1st December a team of students from years 10-13 staged two productions. Although the depiction of contemporary teenage life was something the students were familiar with, both pieces were comedies relying heavily on timing and team work. The final result was a huge success and demonstrated the high standard of performance that the students involved have reached.
