pbs KAMÝK + VLASTINA and eisp OPEN DAY
November 2nd 2017
8.30am - 4pm
The Prague British School has joined the Nord Anglia Education group meaning that PBS now has a local sister school, the English International School, Prague (EISP). We are pleased to invite you to our Open Day and experience all 3 schools. It is a fantastic opportunity to discover why PBS and EISP are the school of choice for so many families in Prague.
We will prepare a wide range of sample lessons for you to visit at all our schools PBS Kamyk (Prague 4), PBS Vlastina (Prague 6) and EISP (Prague 4). There’s no need to register in advance, just come along and visit the lessons that you are most interested in.

Open Day Frequently Asked Questions
DO I NEED TO REGISTER FOR A PLACE ON THE OPEN DAY?
No, it is not necessary to contact us in advance and all visitors are welcome. If you have specific questions that you would like to address with a particular member of staff on the day, of course it would help us if you let us know this in advance.
WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?
The Open Day runs from 8.30am to 4pm. You do not have to arrive at 8.30am; you can turn up at any point throughout the day. However, we advise that you arrive in good time so that you are able to see all of the lessons that you are interested in.
WHERE SHOULD I GO WHEN I ARRIVE?
All visitors should sign in at the main reception where you will be issued with a visitor’s badge. Please wear your badge while on the school premises.
WHAT WILL I SEE AT THE OPEN DAY?
We have prepared a schedule of sample lessons that you are welcome to visit. The schedule is designed to cover all age groups and all areas of the curriculum. We recommend that you have a look at the schedule in advance and plan the timing of your visit accordingly. You can find both schedules above. The PBS Admissions Team will be on hand to give you a guided tour of the school and answer any questions you may have about enrolling your child at PBS. There will be refreshments available throughout the day for all Open Day visitors.
DO I HAVE TO STAY FOR A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF TIME?
No. The format of the open day is very informal, and allows you to plan your day as you wish. You are welcome to join and leave individual lessons at any point.
SHOULD I BRING MY CHILD TO OPEN DAY?
Your child is of course very welcome to come to Open Day and visit classes with you. Some parents visit with their children, some without; it is really up to you! Many families that attend Open Day choose to arrange a follow up visit with their child so that he or she can spend some more time in the classroom before choosing a school.
WHO ELSE CAN I BRING WITH ME?
Whoever you like! Friends, neighbours, colleagues, family…
WHAT WILL HAPPEN AFTER OPEN DAY?
If you choose to leave your contact details and have any questions and points for following up then our admissions team will be in touch with you. Of course, many people visit Open Day simply out of curiosity and do not wish any immediate further contact from the school, which is also fine!
I CAN’T COME TO OPEN DAY BUT I’M INTERESTED IN MY CHILD JOINING PBS/EISP. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
Just call the Admissions Office on 226 096 200 or write to firstname.lastname@example.org. Families visit school almost every day and a new child starts at PBS/EISP on average once per week throughout the school year. Visitors are welcome anytime, even during the school holidays. Open Days are scheduled twice per year, in November and March.
If you have any other questions about the Open Day please call the Admissions Office on 226 096 200 or write to email@example.com
