What and where?

The Prague British School has schools in both Prague 4 (Modrany and Kamýk) and Prague 6 (Vlastina). The locations of the schools are shown below.

Kamýk

This is the main school site for both the Primary and Senior schools and the school administration. It is a large site in a quiet area with extensive facilities. The whole site is surrounded by a National Park. The school has undergone extensive reconstruction, most recently in July 2007.

Kamýk School is in the south of the city close to Modrany School. The school has fabulous facilities both academic and sporting.

All yeargroups at PBS are 2 class entry and each class has its own spacious classroom. All classrooms have interactive whiteboards and a computer. There are 2 fully equipped computer labs and 3 science labs and preparation rooms.

The school boasts music and art rooms and a fully equipped school canteen where hot meals are prepared on site.

Modrany

Modrany is a purpose built Nursery School in a beautiful setting with fabulous grounds, ideally suited to the needs of younger children. The school was fully renovated in 2002.

Modrany School is located less than 10 minutes drive from the Kamyk school.

Modrany school houses the ADCC, Foundation stages 1 and 2 and Year 1.

 

Vlastina

In February 2008 PBS opened a new site in Prague 6. The school is located in Vlastina street in the area of Liboc, Prague 6 (Vlastina 19).

The new building provides outstanding facilities for our children, including superb indoor and outdoor sports facilities, a dining room and over 20 spacious classrooms.

The Vlastina site is for children aged 18 months - 11 years (Pre-Nursery – Year 6)

The new site will allow us to grow to meet the increasing demand for places at the British School in Prague 6.
